Mary Gish

Mary Robinson McConnell Gish was an American actress and the mother of Lilian and Dorothy Gish.

Mary Gish was born on September 16, 1876 in Dayton, Ohio, as Mary Robinson McConnell and she was the mother of actresses Lillian Gish and Dorothy Gish. The girls father, James Leigh Gish, died in January, 1910 when his daughters wereandyears old.
